Our Team

Each Sound Pet specialist is carefully chosen for their experience, skill, personality and natural relationships with animals. All caretakers are Pet CPR & First Aid certified. Our commitment to each and every dog in our care is as important to us as your pet is to you. While away at work or play, your hearts and minds may be at ease knowing they are cared for, treated, & loved……as if they were our own.

  Emily A.
Emily is a freshman in college at Cascadia Community College. Her goal for getting her Associates in Engineering started when her Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Guenevere, was paralyzed due to an accident. Emily subsequently worked with Guenevere to get her to walking again through therapy & building a custom walker. Together in 4-H, being asked to the Washington State Fair, & awarded Obedience Champion, they were best friends up until the day Guenevere passed away. Emily has an extreme passion for dogs and cats. She has raised kittens with her sister, and presently has a 12 year old Calico named Jewels and is helping raise a 5 month old Main Coon mix named Ozzie with her parents.
  Emily R.
Emily’s love for animals started when she was just 2 years old with her family’s 2 Dalmatians, Bonnie and Clyde. Her first experience learning to drink water was from sharing the dogs’ water bowl. Throughout her childhood Emily helped raise a variety of dog breeds. She currently lives with a 12-year-old Beagle, two 4-year-old Great Danes, and two cats. Emily is currently a student at Bellevue College, and loves working with animals. In her spare time she enjoys reading, dancing, twirling baton, skiing, hiking with her dogs, and spending time with her family.
Kelsey was raised on Whidbey Island with many different animals in her household. Throughout her life, she has always been surrounded by & happiest with her pets. Kelsey is another one of Sound Pet’s all-encompassing caretakers and also does overnights which are her favorites. She is a gentle soul, comfortable with the pets in her care, carries a warm smile and always eager to serve the animals in whatever way possible. Kelsey does not consider the pets in her care just animals, she considers them her family.
